ICT office location promotion project cost subsidy (Operation costs/Initial costs assistance)

Overview To assist a part of costs relating to installation of office for ICT companies which newly locates office in Fukushima
Covered business • Facilities for software services (contract development, electronic devices embedding, packages, game software creation, etc.), Information process/provider services
• Internet related services (portal sites/server operation services), application services/contents providers (ASP, web contents provider services),  Internet usage support services (electronic authentication services), etc.
• Facilities to produce digital contents by companies which provide video information creation/provider services (film/video/TV/anime creation, etc.),  voice information creation services (record production services, etc.), publishing services, advertisement creation services
Covered costs ①Operation costs
• Communication fee: Home/cell phone, FAX, Internet or rental server usage fees
• Rents: Rent fee for land, housing, monthly parking lot
• Rental fee: Various office equipment, leasing or rental fee for machinery and vehicles approved by the governor
②Initial costs
• Interior fee, equipment fee, costs of goods purchased, etc.
Subsidy ratio and Upper limit ①Operation costs
• Within 1/2 of the covered costs. Up to 1 million yen per fiscal year with the maximum three years assisted
• Initial costs
②Within 1/2 of the covered costs. Up to 3 million yen. One time only
・When transferring the headquarters (research, general affairs, accounting departments), the upper limit will be extended up to 5 million yen.
Grant requirements The subsidy company needs an approval for their regional economy leading business plan based on the Fukushima Prefecture Basic Plan according to regional economy. More than one new local employee (including those who move in from another prefecture). The business activities are expected to continue more than 5 years.
