Business objective In the primary areas of the Fukushima Innovation Coast Framework, to promote cooperation between regional businesses in order to promote implementation and reconstruction that contributes to regional recovery, and to achieve a rapid industrial reconstruction of Fukushima's Hamadori region

Focal areas of the Fukushima Innovation Coast Framework are nuclear decommissioning, robots and drones, energy, environment and recycling,agriculture, forestry and fisheries, medical-related, aerospace.
Covered areas Hamadori Region of Fukushima Prefecture (Iwaki City, Soma City, Tamura City, Minamisoma City, Kawamata Town, Hirano Town, Naraha Town, Tomioka Town,Kawauchi Town, Okuma Town, Futaba Town, Namie Town, Katsurao Villege, Shinchi Town, litate Villege)
Applicants ①Local businesses: Businesses that situate within the Hamadori Region of Fukushima Prefecture their headquarters, testing or evaluation centers, research and development centers,or production bases; and groups such as research institutes of national research development corporations, universities, national technical colleges, or agricultural cooperatives or other corporate bodies
② Companies collaborating with local companies, etc.
Subsidy ratio and Upper limit (1) Small/medium businesses: (subsidy in the amount of 3/4 of applicable expenses)
(2) Large businesses:(subsidy in the amount of 2/3 of applicable expenses)
[Subsidy upper limit] 700 million yen per business plan (the total amount for a joint application)
※ The subsidy rate of ( ) will be applied to companies that carry out projects in collaboration with local governments in the Hamadori area of ​​Fukushima Prefecture.
Covered costs •Direct expenses: (1) Facility construction fee, (2) Machinery and equipment fee, (3) Research design fee, (4) Labor fee, (5) Material fee, (6) Outsourcing fee, (7) Commission fee, and (8) Other fees.
※ (1) is fees for preparing facilities necessary for implementation developments. (7) should be less than 30% of the total direct expenses
• Indirect expenses (Less than 5% of the total direct expenses)
